XICW: Xtreme Heatwave 2009 8-9-09

Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling presented an insanely explosive "XTREME HEATWAVE 2009" this past Sun., Aug. 9th at The Ritz in Warren, MI.

Ring Announcer: Dustie Diamond.
Referees: Brian Gorie, Steve Bernstein & Creep Sullivan.
Timekeeper: Greg Schmizzy.

Results saw:

In a non-title match, CHRIS McGINNIS & JOSH MOVADO defeated XICW Tag Team Champions THE FAMILY (Vinnie & Sonny Scarboni) by DQ after Vinnie Scarboni was caught using a chair originally brought into the ring by McGinnis.

Thanks to McGinnis & Movado's combination of hunger & trickery, they have earned an XICW Tag Team Title Bout and will challenge The Family for the gold on Sun., 9/20 @ The Ritz!

New House Of Truth member "The Man Of Value" JEFF BROOKS continued to threaten Xtreme Champion THE DBA, saying he was gonna cost him his title again...this time in the Main Event 4 Corners Of Pain Xtreme Title Bout against LEVI BLUE!

The XICW return of DERANGED ended on a losing note, as he was beat by MO DRED after a 2nd rope senton splash.

"The Man Of Value" JEFF BROOKS w/ Truth Martini successfully pinned "Wrestling's Only 1-Legged Wrestler" & Fun Loving Criminal member ZACH GOWEN with a cradle pin after reversing Zach's Koji Klutch submission hold.

KID STATIK picked up another XICW victory, defeating veteran competitor JIMMY "The Hype" SHALWIN with a hurricarana.

"Mr. Insanity" TOBY KLEIN pinned JOSH RAYMOND w/ Truth Martini with a springboard elbow.

XICW Light Heavyweight Champion TD beat The Ringside Revue's KEITH CREME with his breakdance kick to retain the title.

Due to GAVIN STARR being unable to attend "Xtreme Heatwave", Keith Creme attempted to subsitute for his partner and challenge JAIMY COXXX for the Midwest Title. Instead, XICW Commissioner MIKE McMAHON forced The Ringside Revue's manager JOHNNY DELICIOUS to wrestle instead! After the Cxxk Block, it was Coxxxx pinning Delicious for the 1-2-3.

EDDIE VENOM defeated JIMMY JACOBS w/ Truth Martini by DQ after interference from Josh Raymond and Martini. The end saw Truth attack Venom from behind after Venom was about to hit the Yukon Bomb on Jacobs. Venom quickly threw Jacobs to the side and hooked Martini for the Bomb, but was the victim of a Taliban Backpack (backcracker) by Raymond, followed by a spear by Jacobs for the disqualification decision.

Venom said after the match that dealing with the entire House Of Truth by himself wasn't exactly easy, but he was gonna bring a friend to combat The H.O.T. on 9/20! In tag team action, Josh Raymond & Jimmy Jacobs represent The House Of Truth against Venom and the return of THE NECRO BUTCHER!

It was thumbtacks, lighttubes, stapleguns and barbed wire bats and ladders as 4 CORNERS OF PAIN returned to XICW! In the Main Event, "The Most Dangerous Man In Michigan" THE DBA successfully retained his Xtreme Championship over "The Prettyboy Redneck" LEVI BLUE following a DVD and interference from Jeff Brooks. Instead of trying to cost DBA the title and the match, Brooks instead attacked Levi. Turns out Brooks wanted DBA to still be champion when he challenges "The Dangerous One" for the Xtreme Championship on September 20th @ The Ritz! Will Brooks win his first XICW Championship? Or once The DBA gets his hands around the throat of Brooks, how xtreme will THE DBA get?

xicw: main event mayhem 2-22-09

X-treme Intense Championship Wrestling proudly presented "MAIN EVENT MAYHEM - An X-treme Evening Of Motor City Main Events" and The 2009 X Awards this past Sunday, Feb. 22nd at The Ritz in Warren, Michigan.

Your referees for Main Event Mayhem: BRIAN GORIE, STEVE BERNSTEIN & DOUG MADISON.

The X-Awards opened with your host...A.T. HUCK.

The Necro Butcher was awarded "X-treme Wrestler Of The Year" by presenter Marty Jannetty.

1. "Wrestling's Only One-Legged Wrestler" ZACH GOWEN won the XICW Light Heavyweight Title in a Six Way Fray over "KID HYBRID" Chris McGinnis, JEFF "The Hook" BROOKS, TD, "South Paw" SONNY SCARBONI and KID STATIK after Gowen pinned Hybrid with a roll-up.

Truth Martini was awarded "Manager Of The Year" by presenters & birthday boys and girls N8 Mattson, Layne & Angel.

2. The House Of Truth's "Motor City Monster" EDDIE VENOM w/ Truth Martini pinned GUTTER with a Yukon Bomb.

The Devil's Own's Devil Drop was awarded "Finishing Manuever Of The Year" by presenter DJ Shortstop from Channel 955. Unfortunately for DJ Shortstop, Skull Ganz & Devil Dawg proceeded to demonstrate the move on him as well.

3. In a match that saw both men bloody from head to toe, BRAIN DAMAGE made his return to XICW as he defeated "The Prettyboy Redneck" LEVI BLUE with Brain Hemorrhage (Package Piledriver).

The Devil's Own were awarded Tag Team Of The Year by presenter and the legendary Deathdealer Tommy Starr. Unfortunately for Tommy Starr, The Devil's Own layed him out with the Devil's Drop as well.

4. In a First Time Ever Meeting in XICW, "The Most Dangerous Man In Michigan" THE DBA represented The Fun Lovin' Criminals as he defeated The House Of Truth's "Amazing" N8 MATTSON with the danger drop after interference from Truth Martini backfired on N8. Before the match, N8 asked Truth not to accompany him to ringside and that he wanted to win the match on his own. After DBA kicked out of N8's M-80, Truth rushed the ring and ordered N8 to pick DBA up. With N8 holding DBA, Truth proceeded to accidentally clobbered N8 with his Manager Of The Year plaque after DBA ducked out of the way....leading to The DBA win.

Timekeeper Greg Schmizzy was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by presenter AT Huck.

THE DEVIL'S OWN (Devil Dawg & "Pitbull" Skull Ganz) were interrupted by XICW Commissioner THE AMERICAN KICKBOXER. Kickboxer announced that he had made a decision on the future of The Devil's Own. At "Beyond X-treme", The Devil's Own had agreed that if they failed to win the XICW Tag Team Championships from THE RINGSIDE REVUE (Gavin Starr & Keith Creme), they would break-up as a team in XICW! The Devil's Own did win the match-up, but did not win the titles as they only secured a countout victory and belts only change hands via a pinfall or a submission. Because The Devil's Own failed to win the titles and because of their recent behavior during the X Awards, Kickboxer announced The Devil's Own are now banned from teaming in XICW. Kickboxer then announced he had decided to add another Xtreme Main Event to "Main Event Mayhem"...Ganz vs. Dawg and to ring the bell.

5. In the battle between The Devil's Own, "The Pitbull" SKULL GANZ vs. "Big Double D" DEVIL DAWG was interrupted by Wrestling's Only Deaf Manager "Handsome" Johnny Bradford. In what originally started as a friendly match-up, quickly both wrestlers questioned the other regarding Bradford's involvement at ringside. After Devil Dawg speared Ganz, Bradford jumped on the apron to distract Devil Dawg. After Dawg chased him off the apron and gloated to Bradford it was over, his pin was reversed via a crucifix and Ganz was awarded the victory. After the bout, Ganz and Bradford hugged showing they were in cahoots all along.

The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Ringside Revue was awarded Match Of The Year by presenter Johnny Delicious.

6. Due to interference in the past, XICW Commissioner AMERICAN KICKBOXER informed TRUTH MARTINI that The HOUSE OF TRUTH (Eddie Venom & N8 Mattson) would be banned from ringside for Truth's No Disqualification bout against former tag partner and friend JAIMY COXXX. After being threatened with a suspension from XICW, Venom & Mattson eventually left. With The House Of Truth banned from ringside, Truth Martini announced he was refusing to wrestle and proceeded to leave. Truth tried to go back to the locker room but was blocked by The DBA and a barbed wire baseball bat. He tried to escape via another exit but was met by Zach Gowen and his cane. Truth then tried to leave thru the front door but was blocked by Gutter, Jeff Brooks, TD & Kid Statik. Truth was then thrown into the ring by The FLC's to start the match.

After gaining an early advantage, Coxxx was blinded by a handful of powder from Martini. After taking advantage of the No DQ Stipulation, a thingyy Martini beat on Coxxx unmercifully. Coxxx was finally able to make a comeback and go for the thingy Block. Venom and N8 rushed to the ring but Venom was knocked silly by DBA and Gowen as N8 looked on and just watched. Truth tried to throw powder in Jaimy's eyes for a 2nd time but Coxxx kicked the powder into Truth's eyes. Coxxx then pinned Martini via a thingy Block to not only retain his Midwest Title but to finally gain revenge on his bitter enemy.

7. In the Co/Main Event, "The Rocker" MARTY JANNETTY pinned Ring Of Honor's Leader of The Age Of The Fall" JIMMY JACOBS in a back and forth battle after a superkick. After the match, the two respectfully shook hands until Jacobs attacked Jannetty out of nowhere with a low blow. Could we be seeing a different attitude in the future for Jimmy Jacobs?

Jaimy Coxxx was awarded Wrestler Of The Year by presenter The American Kickboxer.

8. In the Main Event, XICW X-treme Champion THE NECRO BUTCHER defeated "Mr. Insanity" TOBY KLEIN to retain the title in an Xtreme Street Fight!

Gary the Freak kept getting himself involved, ultimately taking out Hardcore Harry with a Freakin’ Stunner, Mikey Zeroe then returned the favor and gave the Freak a DDT onto a chair.

--After the Match, Commissioner Zeroe introduced Christin Able to give his farewell speech to the fans, only to be interrupted by Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black, The Age of the Fall, who wanted to see Able sign the Contact in person. Jacobs then attacked Able with the belt and the beat down began, only for Shane Hollister to make the save. Hollister issues a challenge of himself and Able vs. The Age of the Fall, but Jacobs reminded everyone Able was gone for 90 Days. Mikey Zeroe said it would be a one night only match, and it would be signed under the stipulation, if Able and Hollister won, Able’s 90 Day Contact would be ripped up, and he could be in the Chainsaw Cup Tournament, however if The Age of the Fall win, both Able and Hollister would be gone from MCPW…for an entire year!

--The New MCPW No Limits Champion Steve Amani was introduced and interviewed by MCPW’s new interviewer, Mild Mannered Matt. Amani told everyone a story of how he beat his neighbors dog, when it became too loud, just like he did to Caden Ames when he hung him with a chain. Amani then announced a “new” Caden Ames to accept his challenge, the “new” Caden Ames was obviously an opponent paid off by Amani. Amani defeated him with a Mafia Kick, then demanded, on May 16th, to finish off Caden Ames once and for all…in a dog collar match!

--The Ringside Revue (Keith Crème & Gavin Starr) defeated Scotty Young in the second Coin-Toss Challenge Match. It was announced that a No Disqualification match could not be used again, so after winning the coin toss, Keith Crème announced he would like the match to be a No Disqualification HANDICAP Match. Revue double teamed Young throughout the contest, and ultimately finished him off with “The Napolean Complex”.

--In a Chainsaw Cup Preview Match, “Mr. No Limits” Bryan Skyline def. “All Nite” Adam Renolds and the debuting “Old Timer” Jeff King by shoving down the ref and giving King a low blow, and hitting his finishing manuver on Renolds.

--In the Main Event, the team of Christin Able and Shane Hollister def. MCPW World Champion Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black, The Age of the Fall in a very hard fought contest. Black and Jacobs seemed to have Able and Hollister right where they wanted him when Jimmy Jacobs pulled out his chain, but Tyler Black refused to let him us it. Thus, Jacobs used the chain…on Tyler Black! Christin Able then threw Jacobs out of the ring, and pinned Black. After the Match, Christin Able ripped up the 90 Day Contract and was officially entered into the Chainsaw Cup. Tyler Black then attacked Jimmy Jacobs, saying he was going to kill him, but Jacobs escaped into the crowd. Commissioner Mikey Zeroe then came out and told Black and Jacobs to calm down, because on May 16th, the former Age of the Fall Members would go one-on-one in the main event…for Jimmy Jacobs MCPW World Championship!!!

CIW (12/5)

About 600 rowdy C.I.W. fans packed the gym at the Adrian High School. The Night started with Adrian H.S. own Coach Fox coming out to thank the fans for coming out and supporting the wrestling team. While Coach Fox was wrapping up, he was suddenly interupted by the music of the Elite. CK3 first took the mic and introduced himself to the crowd, the "The Rock Show" Ernie Ballz had some not so flattering comments about the coach, then T.K. Parker claimed "The kids that couldn't cut it at different schools, come to Adrian H.S.to wrestle. Finally the coach had enough and tackled T.K., The Elite pulled the coach off of T.K. and attempted to hit him with a chair, only to be ran off by members of the locker room.

The crowd was not to cooperative and was very loud during the attempted silence. T.K. then spotted NITRO sitting on the sideline who is also recovering from his own injuries. Nitro was informed by Parker that on January 10th the Tag Team belts will be defended no matter what. If they aren't, then T.K. was going to strip the champs of the belts.

CIW returns JANUARY 10 in Waldron, MI at the High School.  Expect to see some new faces and exciting action.  The return of the "Mastermind" DAVE DuPONTE.  We will have a tentative lineup soon.  Thank you to the great fans of Adrian, MI and the Adrian High School for it's hard work

OPW

The Outlaw fans got a taste of what the BCWA fans have been getting for a while now. A man so cool calm and collected outside the ring showed why he only needs one name when Hudge teamed with "Irish" Mike Bailey. The opponents? Also new to the Outlaw crowd but not to the outlaw style, The New Wave were granted a shot against the OPW Tag champs a few weeks back and were looking to get back into that position again by taking on the wild Irishman and the Big Man. Unfortunately for The New Wave it didn't take long for Bailey and Hudge to show the OPW crowd why size does matter as The New Wave went out with the tide.

The women of OPW have been called many things since arriving in the land of Outlaw's but call them Diva's and they are libel to rip your jaw off. DeVine has had trouble with partners as of late against Miss Triste and Eclipse and can't seem to find the right combination to keep the two self proclaimed "Anti-Diva's" down for the three count. After a wicked face buster and side walk slam Lady Cross and DeVine were down for the three.

In what was one of the many anticipated battles of the night, the newcomer from Hokota, Japan made his debut. Very little was known about Shilo Yung other than what some assumed was a translator of sorts named Silent Kit made their way to the ring. The crowd of OPW was very receptive and were met with many bows from the respectful Shilo. Mr. Yung faced off against the Masked Assassin who looked as if he were out for blood and Shilo's debut looked if it were going to chalk up a loss. But, in a move not seen in OPW Yung made the Assassin tap out. The crowd let Shilo Yung and Silent Kit know they were welcome back anytime.

What would happen if Grady were to face someone who actually understood and could counter Grady's style with a unique style of their own? We found out in BCWA National Champion Jarek 1:20. What exactly is 1:20? A time? A code? All Grady knew was that Jarek was interrupting his nightly dumpster dives and forty ounce curls. Grady confused Jarek so much in fact that Jarek resorted to a cheap shot low blow in front of the ref that got Mr. 1:20 disqualified. However the fans let it be known they wanted rematch!

When you ask the fans of OPW to name the most charismatic, athletic, energetic tag team in OPW they will answer with one name. C...I...A. When you ask the BCWA fans who is the most charismatic, athletic, and energetic they will tell you Johnny Margera and Scoty Fraytown! The return of the CIA after a long injury from Black Velvet did not disappoint. Well it didn't disappoint if you like the kind of guys that would jump their own grandmother. It also seems they found someone who has a belief like their own in Major Money and the rest of the Enterprise crew. So take CIA and Enterprise... Mayhem with Fraytown and Margera and what do you get? Dynamite waiting to explode. The crowd went nuts over the styles of all competitors involved but, like I said the CIA would jump their own grandmother. when the opportunity knocked they answered, unfortunately Mayhem was on the receiving end and the CIA proved they were back!

Ever since BCWA arrived in OPW due to Mike Blackwell's purchase Custome Made consisting of Bill Martel and Aiden Hallows have butted heads with a few of the Outlaws. Zach Hayden having been in OPW since its inception in 2005 vowed to shut up Custom Made and issued the challenge to Aiden Hallows. Zach Hayden took some bruises in the bout but things looked to be going his way and the crowd could feel Custom Made was on the verge of being sent away with their tails between their legs. But, thanks to "Superstar" Bill Martel that changed quickly as he jumped in the ring and assisted Aiden Hallows in jumping Hayden. Blow after blow was given until a surprise ally came to the ring in defense of Zach Hayden. The OPW Tag Team champions "The American Nightmare." Custom Made scurried out of the ring and began their talking from the safety of fifty feet away. The Cooters however saw this as a possibility to pull one over on the tag champs and snuck to the ring. Turn about however is fair play as they say as Zach Hayden spun Jake Frost and Freekshow around in time to catch The Cooters on the ring. Before things got out of control Mike Blackwell threatened fines and title stripping if the situation didn't cool down.

*INTERMISSION*

As a special treat to the fans a inter promotional battle royal was held not for contenderships or for titles but just so the fans could see the wrestlers beat the hell out of each other. BCWA regular Dirk Matthews saw his hand raised at the end of it as he outlasted the thirty other competitors.

The crowd sensed something special was in the air that night as the next match unfolded. Take the best team in BCWA and the best team in OPW and put them in the ring against what can be described as the most demonic team in OPW and the most brutal team in BCWA. The Shadowood Shotguns and The American Nightmare versus The Nightbreed and The Misfits. Everything looked to be going good for the four tag champs, they isolated Reverend Crowley and were hitting some spectacular moves until two other teams decided to interfere. Both the CIA and The Cooters felt to make their presence known and attacked and pulled the OPW Tag champs out of the match long enough for The Misfits to get the win on The Shadowood Shotguns.

It was discovered that due to contractual disputes that reigning Outlaw Champion Son of Sam had been suspended. Due to the suspension he was stripped of the Outlaw Title and it was announced that a new champion would be crowned. The competitors were hand picked by Mr. Blackwell as being the most worthy to deserve the opportunity. James Travis, who while not amassing
tons of victories had shown himself as being determined and devious enough to garner the shot. The opponent? The first ever OPW Heavyweight Champion and multiple time wrestling tag team champion as well as one half of the Homeless Avengers, Dick Nasty. From technical wrestling to down right brawling both men traded moves and blows to take hom the prize. In the end James Travis saw the shot slip through his finger tips as "The Homeless Avenger" Dick Nasty became Outlaw Champion for the first time in his career.

When OPW Heavyweight champion Carnage answered Bill Martel's open challenge for Mr. Martel's "Real" World's championship many thought that the OPW champ would take home another title for his shelf. However, there is strength in numbers as Carnage was attacked before the match had a chance to begin. Aiden Hallows and Bill Martel went two for two in sneak attacks and used everything in their power to stop Savage, Minnesota Monster. But, when the bell finally rang and Bill Martel was perched atop the shoulders of Carnage in what was sure to be a Splash Mountain Bomb that would turn Martel's pretty blond hair gray, Aiden Hallows cheap shotted Carnage in the gut with a kendo stick. It looked as if Custom Made were going to turn the canvas brain matter gray when they covered Carnage's head with a steel chair but, wher Carnage is he partners are never to far out of ear shot and The American Nightmare went two for two as well in foiling the plans of Custom Made.

*BONUS*

Video footage was later sent in from a fan at the show, that showed Miss Triste outside the ALCC. What can only be described as kidnapping, The Cooter Cousins grabbed Miss Triste from behind and threw her in the back of a waiting pick up truck. Cousin Cooter was heard saying, "Freekshow's gonna love this!" as he pulled away with Bobby Lee in the back letting a deep south yell as they headed down the road.
